On Saturday 3 July, Aldo Turner from 87Marketing joined Simon Fotheringham on his 24-hour charity run, Fothers Mission 24.
Fothers Mission 24 saw Simon run a mile every hour on the hour for 24 hours to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MDNA) after losing his father to the disease in 2020. He was joined along the way by several friends, family and local celebrities including England cricketer Stuart Broad and Nottingham Forest footballer Ryan Yates.
87Marketing supported the fundraising of Fothers Mission 24 by building the website that has helped raise more than £13,000 for the charity.

Aldo commented on his and 87Marketing’s involvement: “It’s been a honour to be involved with such an amazing challenge and see Simon complete his mission on Saturday.
“Simon is a former colleague and old friend of mine and when we spoke about this challenge earlier in the year, I was taken back by what he was planning on doing. It’s an amazing achievement and raising so much money for MND is just incredible.
“It was also nice for us at 87Marketing to get involved with a different type of project and give something towards a very worthwhile charity.”
