There are many things I love about doing this job, but the variety of my clients is definitely high on the list and that’s proved true again with this latest project for beautician, Emma, and her business, Beauty by Emma.
Now, I’ll admit to knowing very little about beauty treatments when agreeing to take this project on, but I always immerse myself as best I can in the industry of my clients. And no, that doesn’t mean I tested the products before anyone asks…! But I will always do my research to make sure I have a grasp of the sector.
The project with Emma was a recommendation from a mutual friend and I can’t tell you how important that is to any small business, and I’m sure Emma will agree with me. Beauty by Emma is a start-up business who wanted a website building to showcase their services and allow a environment to write blogs about the industry. There’s an awful lot of interest in beauty treatments – not just selling services, but advice on what people can do themselves – and blogging is the perfect solution for this.
Emma and I spent time discussing designs, content and the general look and feel of the website and I’m really pleased with the outcome. A very clean design that compliments her fantastic branding with an easy to navigate site structure that clearly tells visitors what she offers and plenty of pictures to back this up. Obviously, strong call-to-actions were required as the aim is to get people to get in touch and book an appointment, and I believe we achieved this in a subtle yet clear way.
I believe there’s plenty more that can be achieved with this website – from online booking tools to in-depth marketing strategies to increase site traffic, leads and bookings – but for now, we hope you like the outcome as much as us.
Please feel free to check out the Beauty by Emma website and if you’re looking for beauty treatments in the Barking And Dagenham area, you know where to go.
